White label SEO pricing: what providers actually charge

White label SEO pricing splits into two markets: software from roughly $20 to $429 a month, and per-client services from $299 to $699 a month where rates are published at all. Only 8 of the 15 white label SEO vendors this directory tracks publish full pricing. 5 publish partial rates, and the rest publish nothing or block checks. Every band below is quoted from the vendor's own public pricing page with the date we checked it.

No other page in this market puts these numbers side by side. Vendors publish their own rates in isolation. Comparison posts skip pricing because it takes maintenance. This table is re-checked on a schedule. Each row links to its source so you can verify it in one click.

Software pricing vs service pricing

The two halves of this market price on different logic. Mixing them up is how agencies overpay.

  • Software prices the tooling. Your team still does the SEO. Published entry points: AgencyAnalytics $20 per client/mo (annual billing), SEOptimer $29/mo flat, WebCEO $36/mo, DashThis $44/mo, Swydo $69/mo, Nightwatch €79/mo, SE Ranking £76/mo plus a £49/mo Agency Pack for white labelling. The white label feature is sometimes an add-on rather than the base plan, so compare the price with the add-on included.
  • Services price the delivery. The provider does the SEO under your brand and charges per client per month. SEOReseller is the transparency benchmark at $299 (Google Business Profile only) to $699 (national) per client. The HOTH publishes a single "from $500/month" figure for HOTH Lite. Boostability publishes retail rates ($480 to $2,000/mo) but sets partner pricing by consultation.

The margin arithmetic, honestly labelled

This is an illustrative example. It is not a guaranteed outcome. Suppose you resell a $499/client/mo local SEO package at a retail retainer of £899/mo (about $1,150 at the time of writing). Your gross margin is roughly 55 percent before your own account management time. Vendor marketing claims sit in the same region. SEOReseller advertises "75% margins" with a 200 to 300 percent markup recommendation. The HOTH claims "40-60% margins". The real number depends entirely on what your market pays for a retainer. UK local retainers commonly clear £500 to £1,500/mo. That is why the arithmetic can work. It collapses if you compete on price.

Why vendors hide pricing, and what to do about it

Quote-based pricing is not an accident. It lets a provider price against your client budgets rather than a rate card. It also stops pages like this one from comparing them. Do three things when a provider you like publishes nothing. Get the quote itemised per deliverable. Ask for the price at double your current client count: volume discounts are standard, and SEOReseller's published PPC tiers drop from $499 to $199 per client as volume grows. Benchmark the quote against the published bands in the table above before you sign.

How to compare quotes like for like

  • Same scope. A $299 Google Business Profile package and a $699 national campaign are different products. Match deliverables before comparing totals.
  • Add the white label fee. The brandable version of a tool can cost more than the headline plan. SEOptimer's White Label plan is $10/mo over its base plan. WebCEO's own-domain white label adds $40/mo. SE Ranking's Agency Pack adds £49/mo.
  • Check billing basis. Most published prices are annual-billing rates; monthly billing typically runs 10 to 25 percent higher across the tools we track.
  • Confirm the price yourself. Follow the source link in the table. If a vendor's page and our band ever disagree, the vendor's page wins and we correct ours.

Frequently asked questions

How much does white label SEO cost per client?
The clearest published benchmark is SEOReseller, which lists white label SEO at 299 to 699 dollars per client per month depending on scope (Google Business Profile only, local, or national). Full-service providers that publish nothing typically quote after a sales call, which is why we track pricing status vendor by vendor.
What is the cheapest way to start with white label SEO?
Software, not services. Published entry plans start at 20 dollars per client per month (AgencyAnalytics, annual billing) and 29 dollars per month flat (SEOptimer). That buys brandable reporting while your own team does the SEO work.
Why do so many white label SEO providers hide their pricing?
Quote-based pricing lets providers size the fee to the reseller's client budgets and negotiate margin case by case. It also weakens comparison shopping. Of the 15 vendors we track, 8 publish full pricing; the rest publish partial rates or none.
What margin do agencies make on white label SEO?
Two providers publish their own claims: SEOReseller markets "75% margins" and suggests marking up 200 to 300 percent; The HOTH claims resellers make "40-60% margins". Treat both figures as vendor marketing. Your real margin depends on your retail retainer.
